 Whitehaven Marine Adventures provide daily guided pleasure cruises and adventure trips
around the impressive coastline from dawn to dusk, plus special sunset cruises.
From Whitehaven's 17th century harbour, you can experience the thrill of a
marine wildlife adventure by joining experienced crew and skippers in search of
grey seals, porpoises, basking sharks and common dolphin, which are regular
visitors to the shores around St Bees and the Solway.
Our two vessels also offer a unique opportunity to observe the bird colony at St
Bees RSPB bird sanctuary, which includes razorbills, gannets and puffin. St Bees is home to one
of the largest colonies of seabirds on England's west coast and the only place
in England where black guillemot breed.
The 90 minute adventure trip is available all year, 7 days a week and is priced at:
£20 per adult, £10 children 14 years and younger, £55 for families ( 2 adults + 2 children) and Childrens Birthday parties from £120. Private hire, group bookings
and corporate trips are also available by appointment at a reduced rate for
parties up to a maximum of 12 people.
The cruises are weather dependent so we are unable to make trips during
stormy conditions. Waterproof clothing and lifejackets are provided and our
qualified, experienced crew and vessels meet MCA safety requirements.
